Consul General a.h Wassim Nanaa received Philippine Embassy team headed by CDA John G. Reyes in Aleppo, and arranged a meeting for them with the Filipino Community members in Aleppo at the Philippine Consulate in Aleppo, during the meeting the team ascertained the safety of the Filipino Community members, and provided financial aid to them, following the devastating earthquake that hit Aleppo, later on, ConGen Nanaa hosted dinner for the Filipino Community members and Damascus PE team at the consulate.
On the next day, ConGen Nanaa accompanied CDA Reyes and Damascus PE team to visit some of the most earthquake affected areas in Aleppo.
